This quick three bean salad recipe requires only a few ingredients you have on hand and minimal preparation. It's easy, quick and full of flavor.

You will need 6 ingredients:
- Green Beans
- Garbanzo Beans
- Kidney Beans
- Water Chestnuts
- Olive Oil Vinaigrette
- Lemon Zest


Make Ahead for this Salad:

- If using frozen green beans - allow to
defrost in refrigerator ahead of time

- If making garbanzo and kidney beans from scratch - allow 2 to 3 hours cooking time and an hour for cooling

Ingredients:

1 cup (fresh or frozen(thawed) green beans
(cut beans into one inch pieces)

*1 cup cooked garbanzo beans

*1 cup cooked kidney beans

*Quick Tip:
To speed up preparation, use canned beans
for both the garbanzo and kidney beans. Rinse and drain before using.

1 cup water chestnuts - each slice cut in half

3/4 cup olive oil vinaigrette or to desired moistness

lemon zest to taste

1. In a large bowl, combine all the salad ingredients, adjusting the vinaigrette and the lemon zest to taste.

2. Allow three bean salad to marinate for at least an hour before serving.
