This spring salad recipe combines the sweet taste of flavorful fruits with crunchy walnuts and crème fraiche to create a quick and easy seasonal fruit salad that’s always good.


The menu planner below will give you some simple and quick meal ideas for this delicious salad.

6 Ingredient Needed:

salad greens – 6 cups
(washed, dried and torn into bite size pieces)

fresh pineapple slices – 1 cup cut into pieces

apple – (1) red delicious (or your favorite)
(washed, cored and sliced thinly)

fresh strawberries – 1 cup
(washed, cored and sliced thinly)

walnuts – 1/2 cup chopped

crème fraiche – 1/2 to 1 cup
(sour cream may be substituted)

1. Place the salad greens on each serving plate.

2. Place the fruit, divided evenly into one-third sections, on top of the salad greens.

3. Place a dollop of crème fraiche in the center of each plate.

4. Sprinkle the walnut pieces over the top of each salad.
