This smoked mozzarella cheese salad recipe is quick, rich, flavorful and very satisfying. It combines smoked mozzarella, fresh basil, juicy tomatoes, flavorful olives and crunchy cucumbers with a simple Italian dressing.

A delicious cheese salad that's simple to make. Use this smoky cheese salad recipe for tacos, a rich pasta sauce or even an omelet fillng. Use the easy ingredient exchanges and the menu planner below to create great quick meals with this smoked mozzarella cheese salad recipe.

6 Ingredients Needed:

smoked mozzarella - 1 1/2 cups cubed
Reduce the Fat: Use a low-fat or fat-free mozzarella cheese

plum tomatoes - 1 cup medium dice

kalamata olives - 1/2 cup roughly chopped

cucumber - 1/2 cup diced

fresh basil leaves - 1/4 cup thinly sliced
Quick Tip: place several basil leaves on top of each other
and run the knife over them, slicing in thin strips.
Repeat until you have the quarter cup.

Reduce the Fat: use low-fat or fat-free dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine all the cheese salad ingredients and add the dressing. Adjust dressing to desired moistness.
