If you want to reduce the fat in your diet, one good way is to dress your salads with this easy to make oil free salad dressing. Using a creamy yogurt base combined with spicy mustard, fresh garlic and sweet fruit juice, this dressing is packed with flavor.

Yield: Approximately 1 cup

4 Ingredients Needed:

nonfat plain yogurt – 1 cup

prepared spicy brown mustard – 2 tsp

fresh garlic – 1 clove minced

orange juice – 1/4 cup

(you may also substitute
lemon, lime, or red grapefruit juice)

In a bowl or jar with tight fitting lid, whisk or shake all ingredients until well combine. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Pasta Dressing:

** Serve this easy dressing over pasta. Toss dressing with warm rice noodles, steamed mushrooms, broccoli and red peppers. Add some warm garlic bread or garlic breadsticks for a quick meal for lunch or dinner.

Spinach Salad Dressing:

** You can also serve this quick dressing recipe on a spinach salad. Layer fresh washed baby spinach leaves with red onion rings, sliced tomatoes and drained water-packed tuna. Spoon dressing over the top and garnish with baked croutons.
