This tangy and spicy mustard caper dressing has a great rich flavor that goes well with any vegetable salad.

The sharpness of mustard and the salty addition of capers makes this quick salad dressing a great marinade as well. Once you make it, you’ll find all kinds of uses for it.



Yield: 1/2 - 3/4 cup

4 Ingredients Needed:

olive oil – 1/2 cup

vinegar (apple cider, rice, or any
flavored vinegar) – 2 tbsp

prepared mustard (Dijon style) – 1 tbsp

capers – 1 tsp

In a mixing bowl, add all the dressing ingredients and whisk until well combined.

Note: You can also put the ingredients in a small glass jar, secure the lid and shake until everything is combined into a smooth dressing.

Quick Salad Ideas - Salad Dressing Serving Suggestions:

Vegetable Marinade:

** This quick salad dressing can be used as a marinade for sliced raw vegetables. Simply cut up the vegetables of your choice (try any combination of: celery, cucumbers, broccoli, tomatoes, jicama and carrots) and put into a glass bowl or a jar with a lid. Pour dressing over vegetables, cover and allow to marinate for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Either stir or shake the vegetables periodically as they marinate.

Cheese Marinade:

**You can also this dressing to marinate cheese chunks. Sharp cheddar, munster, brick or mozzarella balls are good choices to marinate, but choose your own personal favorite.

Pasta Dressing:

*This flavorful dressing recipe is also good on any cold pasta salad.
