Melon salad with prosciutto is a quick and delicious fruit salad that uses simple and flavorful ingredients including prosciutto, cantaloupe and honeydew melon along with creamy avocado to create a rich tasting fruit salad in minutes.

4 Ingredients Needed:

cantaloupe – 1 cup cubed

honeydew melon – 1 cup cubed

avocado – (1) medium size
(peeled, stone removed and cubed or left in halves)

prosciutto – 8 thin slices

Quick Meals - Menu Planner:

Layered Fruit Salad:
** Serve this easy fruit salad layered in parfait or wine glasses. Start with avocado cubes in the bottom of each glass, then a layer of cantaloupe, then prosciutto, then avocado, then honeydew and finally prosciutto. Garnish salad with a sprinkling of cantaloupe cubes and a bit of grated nutmeg if desired.

Fruit Salad In Avocado Halves:
** Serve this quick fruit salad by placing the melon and the prosciutto mounded into the avocado halves with rye crackers served on the side.

Fruit Salad On Greens:
** Serve melon salad by combining all the ingredients, you may want to roughly chop the prosciutto, and place on fresh washed spinach leaves. Along side the fruit salad, serve thick Italian bread slices with melted cheese on top.

Skewered Fruit Salad:
** Serve fruit salad on wooden or metal skewers, alternating the melon with the avocado and the prosciutto (cut prosciutto slices the long way and roll each strip and place on the skewers). This is a great idea for party hors d’oeuvres.
