Layered fruit salad combination: fresh apricots, peaches, pitted cherries Fruit preparation: pit apricots and peaches and cut both into small chunks and combine together in a bowl, cut cherries in half Layer ingredients: vanilla yogurt mixed with some ground cinnamon, walnut pieces, white chocolate chips Serving idea: - yogurt/cinnamon mixture - apricot/peach mixture - walnut pieces - yogurt/cinnamon mixture - cherries - white chocolate chips - yogurt/cinnamon mixture Repeat layers if desired and then top each serving with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few walnut pieces. ________________________________________________________ Fruit combination: apples, pitted dates, navel oranges, raisins Fruit preparation: cored and dice apple, cut dates into pieces, peel and section orange and cut each section into thirds Layer ingredients: caramel syrup, *whipped cottage cheese with honey, pecan pieces *To make the whipped cottage cheese, simply take a containerof cottage cheese and place in a blender along with some honey and blend until mixture is smooth and creamy, adding a little milk to thin mixture if necessary. Serving idea: Repeat layers if desired and top each serving with a drizzle of caramel syrup and a few pecan and apple pieces. ________________________________________________________ Fruit combination: kiwi, banana, blueberries Fruit preparation: peel kiwi and cut into chunks, peel and slice banana Layer ingredients: lemon yogurt, lemon zest, pound cake cubes, sliced almonds Serving idea: Repeat layers if desired.
