Fat Free Salad Dressing:


A quick salad dressing with mayonnaise, vinegar and herbs. Simple to make and a great dressing that can be used in a variety of ways.

See the serving suggestions below for some flavorful ways to create easy salad meals and more using our fat free salad dressing.



Yield: Approximately 1 cup



You will need 3 ingredients:

- Nonfat Mayonnaise
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Dried Herb of Choice

Ingredients:

nonfat mayonnaise – 1 cup

apple cider vinegar – 1/4 cup

dried herb of choice – 1/2 tsp
(you can use Basil, Chives, Oregano, Parsley,
Thyme or whatever you prefer or you can use
a blend of two or more)

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until smooth and completely combined.

Quick Salad Ideas - Salad Dressing Serving Suggestions:

Coleslaw Dressing:

** The quick salad dressing is a terrific coleslaw dressing. Use packaged coleslaw mix and add our fat free dressing as desired.

Fat Free Vegetable Dressing or Sauce:

** This easy dressing is also good over steamed vegetables. Steam broccoli, mushrooms and scallions for a few minutes, then toss with this fat free dressing and you have a quick and easy vegetable dish.

Tuna Salad Dressing:

** You can also use this dressing recipe to make a quick tuna salad. Just drain a can of water-packed tuna, add chopped celery, diced onions, water chestnuts and the dressing. Toss to combine and serve on focaccia bread for a quick tuna salad sandwich.

Ingredient Exchanges:

* Instead of Herbs: try Honey or Maple Syrup
(This makes a great dressing for fruit salad or even a simple lettuce salad).

Simple Lettuce Salad: combine lettuce greens with cashews, cucumbers, dried cranberries and avocado and spoon dressing over top.


* Instead of Mayonnaise: try Sour Cream or a Combination of Sour Cream and Mayonnaise
