with
Lemon Sour Cream Dressing

Five ingredients create this crab salad with lemon sour cream dressing.

The rich flavors of sweet crabmeat, fennel and bacon combined with a lemon sour cream dressing, make this a rich, flavorful and delicious seafood salad.

It makes a great crab salad sandwich and can be served in a variety of ways. Use the menu planner below to create simple quick meals using this crab salad with lemon sour cream dressing.


2-3 servings (as a main meal)

5 Ingredients Needed:

prepared, cooked crabmeat – 2 cups flaked into medium sized pieces

fennel – 3/4 cup thinly sliced

*bacon – 3 slices, cooked until crispy, drained and crumbled

*sour cream – 1/2 cup

fresh squeezed lemon juice – 2 tsp

lemon zest – as desired



*Lower the Fat: Substitute turkey bacon
for regular bacon and use low-fat or fat-free sour cream.



Make Ahead:
- Cook 3 slices of bacon until crispy, drain and crumble

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, fennel and bacon.

2. In a smaller bowl, combine the sour cream, lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir well and adjust the zest to desired taste.

3. Add the lemon sour cream to the crabmeat and toss well.

Dressing Option: If you would like a thicker dressing, just add more sour cream.
