Here are some quick and easy breakfast fruit ideas to start your day. Fresh fruit and a few extra ingredients create these flavorful fruit dishes in minutes. They are great ideas for breakfast but can also be used for lunch, snacks, and even simple and fast desserts.

Pears and Blueberries

Place in a bowl and toss to combine: cut up pears, cubed chayote squash, blueberries, plain Greek style yogurt (enough to moisten), dash of cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg. Place in individual serving bowls and top each serving with sliced almonds.

Layer the following in individual serving bowls: diced apples, chopped figs, plain yogurt, and low-fat granola of choice. Repeat layers if desired.
